- What is the catch with the free plan?
- The submission allowance is a total rather than a monthly reset, which is the one place a competitor's free plan can beat it. Forms also carry a Powered by Deoochform footer until you upgrade. What is not held back is features: conditional logic, payment fields, file uploads, the AI builder and the MCP connectors are all on the free tier.
- Do I need an account to fill in a form somebody sent me?
- No. Respondents never sign up for anything, including when a form asks for a file upload. That is worth checking against whatever you are comparing this to, because some free form tools require every respondent to hold an account with them before they can attach a file.
- Can I take payments on a free plan?
- Yes. Product, subscription and donation fields are backed by Stripe Connect and available on every tier including this one. Most form builders put payment fields behind a mid tier plan, which is the single most common reason people discover their free plan does not cover what they needed.
- What happens when I run out of submissions?
