About this template
A contract signed on the day of a shoot protects nobody. This form books the session and records the agreement together: the client details, the type of shoot, the date and location, the package, the terms, a signature, and the retainer, all in one submission.
The terms are written as checkboxes the client ticks one by one: delivery within four weeks, the retainer not being refundable close to the date, and the photographer keeping copyright. Portfolio use is its own question with a no faces option, which clients appreciate.
Have the terms checked against the law where you work before using this, then set your own packages and retainer amount. Most photographers keep a separate version of this form for weddings with a second shooter and a timeline section.
