About this template

A booking taken over the counter loses the half of the story the technician needs. This form keeps it: registration, make and model, current mileage, what is being booked, and a description of the noise or warning light that prompted the call.

The approval limit is the field that stops the afternoon phone call. A customer who has authorised work up to a stated amount lets the job carry on when something else turns up, and the ones who want to be called said so in writing.

Adjust the service list to what your workshop offers, and add a payment field if you take a deposit on booking.
